- The express division of Deutsche Post dhl Group continues its fleet modernization with the acquisition of additional 777 freighters
Seattle, March 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- dhl Express and Boeing [NYSE: BA] Today announced that the world's leading express service provider has ordered six additional 777 freighters. This purchase brings dhl Express' total orderbook to 28,777 since the first direct order in 2018 for today's largest and most capable twin-engine freighter.

777 Freighter Improves Fuel Efficiency and Reduces CO2 Emissions2 Compared to conventional aircraft, emissions are reduced by 17%. To date, dhl Express has taken delivery of 15,777 freighters.
